Ditto. Great to see Beth doing so well.

Beth is a winner...and I mean that not only as an observation that people throw off casually, but also as an observation about her resilience and her previous prowess as a teacher and a runner. I'm pretty sure I have a photo of her finishing first in a 5-mile foot race...just gotta get her permission to publish it.

Nice post, John. I got to the Y several times a week and am impressed with what goes on in the cafe.

Thanks, Dan. I'm still hoping to interview Katie K. for SET. Want to join me?

Yes, I’ve actually been thinking of including some video of Kindness Cafe in the next edition (16e) of our intro text. We haven’t been given a schedule from Pearson so I hadn’t done anything yet. But if you’re going to video an interview with Katie, I’d like to be involved and use some or all of it for our revision. When you decide to do it, let me know. Btw, I get something from the cafe once or twice a week. After working out, I usually go home and make myself a protein shake. But for various reasons, it’s sometimes more convenient to get the protein shake their (as well as a Innisfree granola bar). I’d also take the opportunity to ask her why they close between 12 and 2. It seems to me that would be a good time to be open.
