Special Education Today published an article 21 November 2025 about the change in the public posting by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the causal relationship between vaccinations and autism. The CDC statement disclaiming a causal relationship between receiving vaccination and development of autism referred to an absence of evidence conclusively ruling out a connection. In other words, “it hasn’t been shown 100% that vaccines don’t cause autism, so it’s not true that vaccinations don’t cause autism.” 1
