Notes about the Midwest Symposium for Leadership in BD
What can we learn from MSLBD?
The Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders completed it’s annual conference live and in person in February. From reports, the meeting was a success. But more important than the success, to me, is that MSLBD does a lot of good [poop].
The annual conference is only one of the many valuable features of MSLBD. There are also these:
MSLBD hosts the Richard L. Simpson Autism Conference.
MSLBD publishes the free online magazine, RETHINKING Behavior.
MSLBD connects with the Janus Project, a set of video interviews with leaders in emotional and behavior disorders.
Most of what MSLBD provides, it provides for free. One doesn’t have to pay for membership. To be sure, it is a 501(c)3 organization, so it would welcome donations!
If one is concerned about EBD, this is an organization worthy of your following.
Now, I would be negligent if I didn’t add that Friend of SET (FOS) Tim Landrum received MSLBD’s award for Outstanding Leadership. Well deserved, my buddy! Congrats.
