Webinar on building capacity for changing systems
What would one want to learn about practical and intensive technical assistance?
The US National Center on Deaf-Blindness will conduct a Webinar 11 August 2026 entitled “Inside Intensive TA: Building Capacity for Systems Change.” In the session leaders from the State Implementation and Scaling up of Evidence based Practices Center will guide participants through an examination of structures, practices, and relationships that support delivery of effective technical assistance and professional development.

Drawing on examples from state and district partnerships, the session will highlight how implementation specialists support transformation through active implementation frameworks, implementation teams, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement cycles. Participants will leave with practical insights, lessons learned, and strategies for strengthening intensive TA efforts in their own contexts.
Although the Webinar is sponsored by the National Center on Deaf-Blindness, I expect that the content will be applicable for providing technical assistance for other populations as well.
