What is the US educational research agency studying about spending
The Institute of Education Sciences, a part of the US Department of Education, is conducting a National Study of Special Education Spending. The study will gather and report data about how much state and local education agencies spend in educating students with disabilities. The study is, in part, an evaluation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act; it is hoped that it will be informative to the US Congress as that government group monitors the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
