How about a quick observation regarding the relationship between teaching and testing?
This post is not going to provide a thorough, scholarly analysis of the relationship between testing and teaching. It’s just a quick observation about the relationship.
I understand that some folks have a view of testing that is something like what is shown in the accompanying figure. Their vision of testing is rows of children sitting at tables equipped with little more than a writing instrument and a test booklet.
