What's to be known about the 2026 meeting of Teacher Educators for Children with Behavioral Disorders?
Teacher Educators for Children with Behavioral Disorders announced a call for proposals for its 2026 conference and published a link for registration for the conference. Here’s the scoop.
The TECBD conference has provided a valuable venue for academics and practitioners to meet and discuss practices and issues especially focused on children and youths with emotional and behavioral disorders. Topics cover a broad range of issues ranging from characteristics to classroom management, early academic learning to support in juvenile justice environments, assessment to treatment. ;and many others. Presenters include teachers and researchers discussing all those topics.
The 49th annual conference will take place in-person on 19-20 November 2026 in Tempe, AZ. There is also a virtual session on 21 November 2026. Potential presenters may submit a proposal for a session either during the face-to-face sessions or the virtual sessions. The form for applying to present a session is available at 2026 TECBD Proposal Submission. All proposals must be submitted by10 June 2026.
