Sped law resources
Are you interested in perusing materials about legal developments?
Over on the SpedLaw Blog, the excellent source for legal information about special education that is written by Special Education Today authors David Bateman and Mitchell Yell, readers can find a post from 24 December 2025 that provides a catalog of materials related to the case of A. J. T. v Osseo Area Schools. Some Dear Readers will remember1 that Mitch, David, and I covered the A. J. T. v Osseo case in the spring and summer of 2025 right here (27 April 2025 and 13 June 2025) on SET.
In the post on their blog, entitled “Special Education Law Course Materials,” David ledes (teehee) with this:
At the SpedLawBlog North compound, we’re feeling generous and are sharing materials for those who teach special education law. For everyone else, the video listed as #5 below is well worth your time—at a minimum, watch that.
The post then includes a set of questions that would be useful to anyone who either simply want to know about the matter of good faith judgements in special education decisions or who is providing professional development about the matter. Good stuff! Read the post for free over on Sped Law Blog.
While you’re over there, explore other good resources, too!
