Nice, Jane. We had lots of wild flowers at our former place on Tom Mountain (which place you may remember).
I walked some of the local trail this past week, but I didn't see any spring ephemerals. Pat promised to alert me when the Bloodroot appear here (she transplanted some from the yard of my cousin Bob and cousin-in-law Brenda when they had a country house south toward Scottsville). I've see Mayapples along the trail. Photos coming later!
My crocus are up but not in bloom. My pussywillow has catkins starting to emerge too.
