On the morning of 4 February 2025 in Örebro, Sweden, a gunman fired his gun repeatedly in an adult education center called Campus Risbergska, according to multiple news reports. Campus Risbergska provides educational services such as vocational education for individuals aged 20 or older who have not graduated from elementary and secondary schools; it also offers Swedish language classes for immigrants.
The news reports have been vague about the number of dead and injured people. Phrase like “at least 10” killed appeared in multiple publications. Most report that the gunman died at the scene, but not how he died.
Because of the population of students served at Campus Risbergska, I have searched for more information about the wounded and dead. I am deeply saddened by the injuries and deaths. I do not know at the time I’m writing this (10 PM Eastern time 4 February 2025) whether any of those injured or killed were individuals with disabilities or their teachers.

Wikipedia almost immediately posted a page—2025 Risbergska school shooting— summarizing what was known. That page has been updated repeatedly since the incident as first reported.
