What songs is John thinking about recently?

As some in-real-life readers will know, I think about music a lot. Also, like most of we humans, I get “earworms.” I have used songs as reminders about behavior and classroom management principles in courses I taught for prospective teachers. I even have played guitar (poorly) and sung (even more poorly).

Well, I’m planning to subject readers of Special Education Today to posts about to what song I’m listening or repeating or considering, what’s in my ear. Often I’ll provide a little commentary about them.

I’m going to start this section with one of my all-time favorite bands, The Band, and their fine song, “W. S. Walcott Medicine Show.”
