MSLBD conference proposals call
Who wouldn't want to contribute to this venerable assembly?
The US Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders, a long-standing and outstanding source for professionals concerned about children and youths with emotional and behavioral disorders, solicited proposals for session for its annual symposium for 2027. Proposals for the 2027 meeting must be submitted by 15 June 2026. See the conference’s Web page inviting proposals for sessions.
The MSLBD is held in Kansas City, MO, at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center 25-27 February. Even if one doesn’t want to present a session, one might very well want to attend (see info at the earlier link).
This is the same group that hosts the Richard L. Simpson Conference on Autism in the fall of each year and publishes the free magazine, RETHINKING Behavior. It’s a good group to track! Eminent advocates and scholars such as Tim Landrum, Terry Scott, Kathleen Lane, Reese Peterson, the late Jim Kauffman, and many others have been regulars at meetings of MSLBD. See an April 2022 post about MSLBD on Special Education Today.
