Michael Kennedy, Commonwealth Professor of Education at the University of Virginia, delivered the J. Lee Wiederholt - Donald D. Hammill Distinguished Lecture at Council for Learning Disabilities 22 October 2026 in Fort Worth (TX, US). Given Michael’s long-standing interests in applications of technology in special education, the topic of his presentation was particularly appropriate. His talk was entitled, “No Longer a Niche on the Fringe: The Rise of Technology (Good and Bad) in Daily Instruction for Students with LD in Inclusive Settings.”
