What's the future of special education under Ms. McMahon's leadership of the US Education Department?
On 25 February 2025 by a vote of 51-47, the US Senate agreed to advance the nomination of Linda McMahon to the next step along the path to confirmation. Ms. MacMahon was nominated by US President Donald J. Trump in January 2025; regular readers of Special Education Today likely recall two. posts 13 February 2025, one that alerted readers about the opportunity to watch her “job interview” with the Senate’s Health, Education, and Labor committee and a second about my observations of the hearing.
