International conference: “Listen to me! Children’s Voices and Agency”

How about attending the International Conference on Child Studies in October 2026?

The Child Studies Research Center of the Institute of Education at the University of Minho will convene the third International Conference on Child Studies 1-3 October 2026 in Braga (PT). The theme of the meeting is “Listen to me! Children’s Voices and Agency,” and it will include lectures, posters, round-table discussions, and other interactions on issues and research about children’s lives, health, well-being, and education.

O Centro de Investigação em Estudos da Criança, do Instituto de Educação, da Universidade do Minho em colaboração com a Universidade de Linköping, a Universidade de Santiago de Compostela e a Universidade de Suffolk, realizará a III International Conference on Child Studies, de 1 a 3 de outubro de 2026, em Braga (Portugal). O tema do encontro é “Listen to me! Children’s Voices and Agency”, e o programa incluirá conferências, apresentações de pósteres, mesas-redondas e outras formas de interação, centradas em questões e investigações relacionadas com a vida, a saúde, o bem-estar e a educação das crianças.

The conference will feature experts on child development and children’s rights, including Laura Lundy of Queen’s University (Belfast, IR), Mats Andrén of Linköping University (Linköping, SW), and Pallawi Sinha of the University of Suffolk (UK). Other speakers (see program) represent additional institutions in other countries. The conference is a collaboration of the Child Studies Research Centre of the Institute of Education at the University of Minho (PT), Linköping University (SW), the University of Santiago de Compostela (ES) and the University of Suffolk (UK).
