In the venerable journal, Learning Disability Quarterly, H. Lee Swanson published a perspective about articles from that journal that appeared in the late 1980s and much of the 1990s. Lee1 used citation counts for articles from the period when he was editing LDQ to identify the most influential ones; then he provided commentary about them in his contribution to the journal’s semicentennial.
