Professor Jonté C. Taylor of the Pennsylvania State University is a guy with whom I, and many others, enjoy connecting. I was introduced to Jonté (he goes by “JT”) by my friend and colleague (and Exceptional Children co-editor), Bill Therrien.

While they were both in Iowa, they worked together on improving science education for students with disabilites. Right away, I thought, “Ding! Ding! Ding! Science ed! Instruction! Winner!”

Well, my beginning thoughts have been borne out over the years. JT not only has contributed in science ed (very valuable baseline), but he’s also a contributor in the area of emotional and behavioral disorders, techonolgy, and more. See his PSU Web page or the space on ResearchGate.

So, let me assert that JT’s not only someone who has wonderfully variable “chops,” but he’s a guy with whom one could spend time talking about lots of things. Readers can follow JT on Twitter, but they can learn more about his scholararly efforts at those links I provided earlier.

Now, this is important: I’m publishing this post on 1 April 2022. It is not an April’s Fool Joke. JT is the real deal!
