Writing for the Washington Post 5 April 2026, Ariana Eunjung Cha published “Surprising links between autism, Alzheimer’s could change how we treat both: The idea that two conditions at opposite ends of life might be biologically linked is beginning to upend long-standing assumptions in brain science, blurring a divide that has shaped the field.” Ms. Cha presented an appropriately cautious report about research showing overlaps between autism and Alzheimer’s that is worth reading.
Chris Ullman of SBSK.org posted an interview 11 June 2026. This time he talks with Kamerie, a little girl who has 18p deletion (as well as other health issues) and her mother—and “talking” involves assistive devices. Watch it here,
