DISES extended due date for conference proposals
By when does one have to submit for the 2026 meeting?
The Division for International Special Education Services announced that it will continue to accept proposals for its meeting in Cusco Peru until 30 March 2026. That is, it is still possible to present a paper at 2026 DISES Conference, “From the Andes to the World: Yachay Empowering Education for Inclusive Societies, 11-13 July 2026 in Cusco, Peru.

We invite educators, researchers, practitioners, and advocates to share their innovative ideas and practices that advance equity, inclusion, and excellence in education worldwide. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and collaborate with a global community dedicated to inclusive education.
For the 2026 Conference, DISES welcomes the submission of proposals within the following strands:
♦ Leadership, Policy and Advocacy: Exploring leadership, systems change, and policy-informed practices that promote equity, rights, and inclusive education across local and global contexts.
♦ Research and Innovation: Sharing empirical and applied research, innovative practices, and cross-cultural studies that expand access, equity, and inclusion.
♦ Engagement and Collaboration: Highlighting partnerships with families, students, caregivers, communities, and professionals through culturally responsive and globally relevant strategies.
♦ Inclusive Practices and Professional Learning: Showcasing evidence-based instructional strategies, high-leverage practices, and professional development approaches that prepare and sustain educators in inclusive environments.
