Over on Patreon, Chris Ulmer of Special Books for Special Kids published a new link. This one is is called “Morgan’s Interview,” and it—prepare to be surprised—is an interview with a woman named Morgan. Morgan clearly articulates what it is like to live her life with complications arising from her childhood with autism to her adult days with borderline personality disorder.
Here are some ofs Ms. Ulmer’s notes on the interview:
Morgan was diagnosed with autism at four years old. As she grew older, she survived repeated abuse and experienced lasting trauma. She was eventually diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and complex PTSD in addition to autism.
In this interview, Morgan speaks openly about what it is like to live with BPD. She discusses the intensity of her emotions, how the condition affects her relationships, and the stigma she has encountered from people who misunderstand the diagnosis. She also explains the overlap between autism and BPD, and how living with both can create an especially difficult dynamic.”
