As reported 16 April 2025, David Bateman will § 504 on 5 May 2025. I’ve registered and I hope you have, also.
One of the bits of info that I hope David covers is the status to challenges of 504. Alert readers may remember that on 21 February 2025, I published a story entitled “Section 504 protections are being challenged…” about a lawsuit (Texas v. Becerra) brought be attorneys general of some states that would essentially invalidate 504 protections. According to the policy folks for the Council for Exceptional Children, those attorneys general have dropped the suit.
